Commodity Watch: Zinc Futures Decline On Weak Trend

New Delhi: Zinc prices on Friday fell 0.31 per cent to Rs 257.10 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for June delivery traded lower by 80 paise or 0.31 per cent at Rs 257.10 per kg in 1,816 lots.
Aluminium futures fall on low demand
Aluminium prices on Friday declined 20 paise to Rs 238.65 per kilogram in the futures trade as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in June fell 20 paise or 0.08 per cent to Rs 238.65 per kg in 3,414 lots.
Copper futures decline on trimmed positions
Copper futures on Friday slipped 0.42 per cent to Rs 860.75 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for June delivery eased by Rs 3.60 or 0.42 per cent to Rs 860.75 per kilogram in a business turnover of 5,368 lots.
